About Lightshift
Welcome to Lightshift Pictures Limited.
Established in Gisborne in 2017, Lightshift Pictures provides video production services and video streaming services to the areas of Gisborne, Bay of Plenty and the Hawkes Bay.
Our small yet talented team is proud to offer a comprehensive range of professional video services, including documentary, live streaming, and video campaigns.
Lightshift is proud to create the stories for our people in Te Tairāwhiti and for our neighbouring whanau in Hawkes Bay and the
Bay of Plenty.
We’re so much more than a regular video production company. All of us at Lightshift Pictures are passionate about what we do, and when we’re not holding the camera, we’re just people like you, with stories of our own to tell. We believe in the power of storytelling through creative video production services and we always find a pathway to connect with our clients and get a true sense of the message you want to convey before beginning a project. When you work with us, you will feel supported like family. We bring our wealth of industry experience, our love for Maori culture and your vision together all in a melting pot of visual innovation, and the end result will leave an unforgettable impact on your viewers.
OUR VALUES
The goal of our video production company is to become a professionally established independent entity that produces high-quality productions for locally established creative and business-orientated industries, with further goals to craft motion pictures in the future.
We aim to take on various opportunities by training local editors and production crews, thus continuing our endeavours of crafting high-quality video productions for the voices of Tairāwhiti in fast turn-around periods and with attention to detail at all times.
Our vision for Lightshift Pictures is to create innovative videos that inspire and shift our communities into a wider perspective of thinking. With the East Coast being the place to see first light, our name and business concept seemed to fit it appropriately.
It is very important that we do not just talk about our goals but achieve them too. We plan to do this by engaging with creative local talent within Te Tairawhiti by expanding our operations and acquiring new and improved equipment to keep up with current video technology.
